Guidelines to get a Highway Center or Node going
The basic agenda of the Highways to Jerusalem project is the following:
  1. To create "nodes" or "centers" in the direction of Jerusalem that can be connected to form a highway.
  2. To use the "nodes" to inform communities about the importance of Israel and the Jews in Elohim's plan of salvation and of Israel as a home-base for Messiah's  physical kingdom on earth. Israel and Jews, of course, needs to exist for Elohim to be credible.
  3. To highlight the satanic onslaught of the nations and Islam on Israel, Jews, Christian nations  and  Christians.
  4. To bless Israel by promoting Israeli products and technology.  You can even sell products and have catalogues from which people can buy.
  5. To establish centers for ministry to take care of needs and to establish escape routes to safer places. For Jews it will obviously be Israel, but I firmly believe that a vacuum is going to be created in Israel due to the defeat of the Muslim enemy inside Israel and along her borders, that will suck in non-Jews, preferably Zionists from the nations. The Lord did say, "I will bring others too ... who are called by my name." This could partially be what Noah predicted: "Japheth will live in the tents of  Shem."
  6. To promote projects to create wealth and a safe haven for Jews and Christians in Israel as is envisaged by Holy Land Inc. - even as Corporate Associates of Holy Land Inc.
  7. Introduce Natsal International and its Multiply blog, highlighting the vital role it will eventually play in ministry and rescue efforts
The Location of your Ministry Center or Node.
It must be located where people, or at least the members of your congregation, can see it.

It can even be a temporary structure, like a tent or a kiosk, from which you might need to remove your display material at the end of the day. That is how I need to operate presently at the site in Israel where I have my foot in the door to erect a facility for Holy Land Inc.  All I have presently is a tent and space in a container to store and use my computer equipment.

One could perhaps also just have a small display window and contact point in public and then have a warehouse in an industrial area.

What to display
First of all, objects outside that would attract people to your facility and to let them see from a distance that it has to do with Israel, viz. an Israeli flag. Secondly, displays that provide them with facts about Israel that they didn't know. The Arabs display a map of the Middle East (ME) that has no Israel, just Palestine. What we need to display is a map of the ME that shows Israel covering basically all of it in line with prophecies of the area from which Yeshua will rule the nations:

Ps 72:8 He will rule from sea to sea and from the River (Euphrates) to the ends of the earth. NIV

From there, the logo of Holy Land Inc.

Holy Land Inc.

You can even blow it up and use it as a display, perhaps together with this picture - on a T-shirt at a pro-settlement rally in Jerusalem:

Greater Israel

Displaying these maps would be a real eye-opener!

In addition one can have displays showing:
 * the diversity and beauty of Israel's landscape and cities,
* political maps to show the dangers of dividing the land,
* resources like the Sea of Galilee, desalination plants, the "Salt Sea," etc.
* technological advances, especially in water technology, nanotech, etc.
* tourist attractions, roads and transport,
religious sites, buildings, etc.

Teaching Material

One can obtain printed material from the Israeli Consulate and local branches of the big Christian organizations, http://www.icej.org, http://www.bridgesforpeace.com, http://www.cfijerusalem.org.

One can also reprint material from websites. The easiest for me would be to make CDROMs from material on my websites and websites of others, even on Multiply. There is literally tons of material among us on Multiply.

It seems to me the creation of display and teaching material for Highway centers is a ministry by itself!

Let's use this Highways Blog to exchange ideas and materials. Above everything, the success of this project will depend on networking. Also try to involve others (converts to Israel) in your community.

We should also start a list and eventually maps of  Highway Centers (Nodes, Tabernacles). Please therefore report to the site if you've managed to establish a center - preferably with photos. I will also list the highway centers at the Highways website.

Sincerely for Zion's sake.

I am ready to get the ball rolling here, You see my city,(Charlotte) is a hub for the airlines just like Atlanta, GA is and I think this would be a perfect spot for a "tabernacle"/ Node. I would like to connect you with the people that I worship with on Shabbat that needs to hear your message (I haven't had the chance to make any "presentation" yet of the idea) They will probably be very interested as well as capable of assistance in many ways. Maybe you can help me convey the idea of the program to them in a professional way. Here is the site http://www.hopeofisrael.info/ I am so excited! It seems like things are going to really line up!!

As I read what you said about airlines, it struck me that a person who'd been to the Feast of Tabernacles in Jlm might give you valuable advice and hopefully assistance. The Lord had prepared us for the calling to Israel by sending a cousin of mine, a prominent preacher in South Africa, and his wife to the Feast. They couldn't stop talking about the revelations at the Feast about God not been done with the Jews, that he was still going to use them mightily, etc. Consequently I knew exactly what it was about when we were called. Subsequently I've been to many of the Feasts, mostly as a volunteer.

A person who has been there should have relevant material and might have ideas about setting up a presentation - might even have wondered how to get a pro-Israel ministry going, but didn't know how.
A starting point might therefore be to try to get a group together who have been to Israel, esp. the Feast or some other meeting, like CFI's yearly Shavuot Prayer Conference. Call a meeting of such people - even people who want to go or simply know how important it is to bless Israel.

Have you seen: Word for 2008  by MISHKAN,
"This will be a year of suddenlies, a year of gates, gates will open and gates will close, gates will lock, and gates will be un..." [more]

I think it is an incredibly important word, esp. the "SUDDENLIES." Unfortunately most people will only then say, "why didn't we prepare for this!" People should at least start meeting to discuss WHAT IF scenarios. I have South African friends in Jlm, a family of four, who have been sitting with packed bags for more than a year to run to the mountains at the Lord's word. He for sure hasn't told me to run, to the contrary, I think he has put me in a place where we can start doing things the moment people arrive who need my help.

That's why I have the warning in the intro of my zionsake.multiply about the TRIBULATION, "What if it hits you?"

I think the place to start is to keep careful track of what happens in Israel. Not that people out there will have much time left between the time that things go wrong here and when the "knee-jerk" (Muslim) backlash hits the nations -- suddenly here and suddenly, or soon after, there!

I checked your congregation's website, but the only contact I can see that I can make, is to contact the Congregational Leader himself. I would need an intro, though. What I have been telling my son and his wife, however, is that they can't wait for a cue from their congregation, that they need to take the lead. Even though yours is Messianic, you will need to take the lead, lay the foundation, set up the infrastructure for the pastor to take the lead when things go wrong.

As I told Elizabeth in the previous comment, I think the best way to get started will be to try to get the cooperation of people who have been exposed to the Israel message, especially by visiting Israel, like the thousands and thousands of people who have attended the ICEJ's Feast of Tabernacles Celebration in Jerusalem since its inception in 1979. [Not that the message hits everybody! Some return without realizing that there will not be a Kingdom without the existence of Israel and the Jews. I have come across pro-Israel Christians groups of which most of the members' interest in Israel was only about trying to find out when the rapture is going to be - the Jews will anyway stay behind when they (Christians) are raptured...! Meanwhile Noah draw a picture for us that speaks of total dependence eventually on the Jews for everything, not just Elohim's plan of salvation, "Japheth will live in the tents of Shem ... Ham will serve both!"]

It is important to keep in mind, though, that tribulation will most erupt in the nations as a result of Israel defeating her Muslim enemies. We don't know when it is going to happen, but when it does happen, it will be like a the bursting of a bubble, one moment it's there, the next it is gone. Therefore, use the resources that come with the bubble while it exists, to prepare and to create an escape route.

Many Christians are ignited and rearing to do something to bless Israel and one should offer them the chance to do something meaningful via the Highways project. They won't lead though, you'll have to do that. Even if you have no one with you, get some material together and launch your ministry with as much publicity as you can get; a press release, lecture, inauguration party of your facility, a ministry table at services/conferences, etc.

Sincerely for the sake of the Kingdom - Zion.
Philip
